Optrain Ltd is now an approved SQA Centre for the delivery of NVQ Level 2 in Plant operations and Controlling Lifting Operations.

During June 2011, SKY 1’s Safebreakers with host Ben Shepherd were filming on location at Optrain with Managing Director Wayne Davies. Ben was onsite to find out more about the capabilities of a bulldozer and was shown the ropes on a Cat D9. The episode featuring Optrain was aired on August Bank Holiday.

Early August 2013 saw us take delivery of two brand items of plant. The Wacker Neuson Forward Tipping Dumper and Bomag 80 Ride On Roller are of the latest specification and ensure that our testing and training facilities remain at the highest standards.
